Industrial exhaust gas can contain various organic compounds, e. g. chemical by-products, solvents or odours. These volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or hydrocarbons (HC) are emitted during various industrial processes and need to be eliminated. Some applications also require a decomposition of nitrogen compounds such as NOX, N2O and NH3.
The economic advantage of low operating costs and less stress on equipment materials of construction, compared to alternative technologies, makes catalytic technology the smart choice for many plants.

EnviCat® NOX SERIES
Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) is a robust and cost effective technology for reduction of NOx from exhaust gases. The NOx reacts with NH3 and is reduced to nitrogen and water even in the presence of oxygen. SCR is widely accepted as the best available control technology.

N2O has a life of 120 years and its global warming potential (GWP) is 280 times more than CO2. EnviCat® N2O catalysts are offered for reduction of N2O in nitric acid plants
SELECTIVE CATALYTIC OXIDATION OF NH3 (SCO) CATALYST:
SCO catalysts selectively oxidize Ammonia to Nitrogen with low NOx formation
