Adsorbents for Dehydration and Purification:
AdsorbMax® series of adsorbents / purifiers / molecular separators offered are Zeolite molecular sieves of 3A, 4A, 5A, 10X & 13X types. They are crystalline aluminosilicate which are highly effective & selective adsorbents for two reasons: –

  • The structure permits adsorption of molecules having sizes smaller than the pore opening.
  • Adsorption effect is because of electro-static forces of attraction between adsorbate and adsorbent 
  1. AdsorbMax® 100 : It is 4A type of molecular sieve with pore size 4Å. It is an excellent desiccant, used in static condition for drying of non-reactive organic liquids like benzene, hexane, chloroform, naphtha, kerosene, transformer oil, drying recycle reformer gas, hydrogen rich gas and air.
  2. AdsorbMax® 101 : It is 3A type of molecular sieve with pore size of 3Å and is a variant of 4A. It is best suited for drying of cracked gases like ethylene, propylene, butylene, etc as its pore size does permit an entry of these molecules and thus prevent their co-adsorption and coking and drying of polar organic liquid like methanol, ethanol, etc.
  3. AdsorbMax® 102 : It is 5A type of molecular sieve with pore size of 5Å and is a variant of 4A. It is an excellent adsorbent for separation processes like separation of normal paraffin from branch paraffin for LAB (detergent raw material Industry) manufacture, simultaneous removal of water, H2S, mercaptans and carbon dioxide from natural gas prior to cryogenic liquifaction of NG for LNG Plant in gas and liquid phase.
  4. AdsorbMax® 103 : It is 13X type molecular sieve having highest adsorption capacity used for general drying purpose, drying of air & natural gas (NG), LNG and heavier feed purification
  5. AdsorbMax®104 : It is 10X, a variant of 13X type molecular sieve with pore size 10Å and with very high adsorption capacity, developed for many novel applications like simultaneous production of oxygen and nitrogen from air by VSA process
  6. AdsorbMax®105 : It is Mordenite type molecular sieve with pore size 7Å and can withstand acidic environment where other molecular sieves cannot. It is recommended for removal of Mercury (Hg) vapours, Silanes, and acidic gases HCL, NO and SO2 etc. from gaseous or liquid stream.

Gas Processing Adsorbents :
ActiSorb® GP series

Sulfur removal : We offer our ActiSorb GP series adsorbents for Sulfur removal from Hydrocarbon streams like –NG and other liquid Hydrocarbons. The targeted contaminants are H2S, COS, Mercaptans.
ActiSorb® GP series adsorbents are Copper based /Copper-Zinc based material capable of operating at ambient temperature conditions and removes total sulfur in the feed upto 0.1ppm purity.

Hg removal : We offer our Sulfided ActiSorb® GP series adsorbents for elemental Hg removal from Hydrocarbon streams both Gas phase and liquid phase
